Learning business and management textbooks shortlisted for the CMI
Management Book of the Year awards
Cengage Learning is delighted to announce two of its
leading textbooks have been shortlisted for the Chartered Management
Institute's Management Book of the Year awards
The top 25 books for the CMI Management Book of the Year competition were
recently announced at the CMI’s national conference in London. The shortlist
includes Cengage Learning’s Strategic Management: Competitiveness and Globalization by Henk W. Volberda, Robert E. Morgan, Patrick
Reinmoeller, Michael A. Hitt, R. Duane Ireland and Robert E. Hoskisson, in the outstanding
management and leadership textbook and best ebook categories, and International Business by Mike W. Peng and
Klaus Meyer
in the best ebook category.
About the CMI and the Management Book of the Year awards
The CMI Management Book of the Year competition is run by the CMI in
association with the British Library and their aim is to
find the UK’s best books on management – the books that really help managers
and employees at work. The CMI has over 90,000 members and 683 approved
centres, which include training providers, universities and business schools.

The winner will be decided by a panel of management experts including Professor
Cary Cooper CBE of Lancaster University and Sir Anthony Cleaver of Novia
