{Supplements}

"The text is clearly written and students with no previous knowledge of the subject will be able to understand the topics covered. For business students the examples used cover various areas, such as business management, accounting and finance, marketing, human resource management, which is useful for students on different pathways. It is particularly good to have European case studies which have been very lacking in the books generally available and it is very refreshing to find a book with a European emphasis." Lynn Snape, Anglia Ruskin University

"This text provides a thorough understanding of IT in a business environment and is easy to read, with a nice flow between the theoretical background provided and the application of the theory in the real world. The cases and examples cover a wide variety of topics – insurance, vehicle fleets, business meetings, IT modernisation, implementing new software – which will help students to relate to real-world problems. There is also a balance between United States, United Kingdom, European and South African references, making it relevant in the global context." Dr Lynette Barnard, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University

"This new text is very good and has a nice focus on the actual management of IT. It is well-written, relevant and has a very intuitive way of introducing the concepts and arguing for the relevance of using IT strategically. I find the sequence of chapters very appropriate for my course and the text flows well." Associate Professor Bjarne Rerup Schlichter, Aarhus School of Business
